Christmas Cards 2014

I am so sorry everyone for the delay of my blog post. I have had a really rough week. I woke up last Saturday and my jaw was locked up. I was really weak from not eating and couldn't get anything done. I'm just now able to eat solid foods and getting my strength back. I decided to post all the cards at once since I'm still not feeling so well.

On to the cards. I apologize for the lack of details and links.

This first card is one of my favorites. The angel silhouette is a from the Silhouette online store. Isn't she the sweetest thing ever?
This reindeer card is also from the Silhouette online store. I added pop dots to give it a bit of dimension.
This next card is a hybrid card. I used the Reflections Christmas digital kit from Echo Park. This kit comes with so many embellishments and papers. And it was only $11.99.
I love the black and red on this card. For this one I used The Candy Cane Lane Recollections paper pad.
And finally my favorite. The Nativity is also from the Silhouette online store.  It was meant to be an ornament shape but I cut the top off to make it round.
Once again I apologize for the lack of details. Thanks for stopping by.

Reindeer Christmas Card

Today I'm sharing a card that is Pinterest inspired. You can view the photo here.
I used kraft cardstock from Recollections as a card base and the white torn paper that creates the snow bank is also from Recollections. The reindeer is a Silhouette file and you can find that here. I had to do some editing on the reindeer to remove the open elements it has. For the snowflakes I used the Fiskars All That Glitters stamp set and embossed it with white embossing powder. The greeting is from Fiskars Holiday Frolic stamp set.

It somewhat looks like the original. Well kinda.

Christmas Card-Buttons

Time to share my second Christmas card I created.
I tried to keep this card as simple as possible. I used a card base from Recollections and added a scrap piece of paper from the Recollections Jolly and Bright paper pad from a couple of years ago. I added some buttons for ornaments and added a ribbon for a little extra cuteness. The greeting is from the Hero Arts Holiday Sayings clear stamp set.

*The Hero Arts Holiday Sayings stamp set and Recollections Jolly and Bright paper pad are both retired.

Peppermint Christmas Card

I can't believe it's Christmas time already. Each year goes by quicker and quicker. Today I"m sharing a quick and easy card.

When I was making this card I thought it might be to simply. I was thinking of adding some bling on the top but I'm glad I didn't. I really like the simpleness of the card.
I used the Recollections card base and used the Martha Stewart Peppermint Winter mat pad for the bottom. I added some ribbon and a 3d Recollections peppermint sticker. The greeting is from Hero Arts Holiday Sayings stamp set. I get a lot of use out of that stamp.

*The Martha Stewart mat pad, peppermint sticker and stamp set have all been discountinued.
All other items I used are in the supply list below.

Halloween Treat Envelopes

Hi everyone! It’s that time of the year, the holidays are fastly approaching and it’s time to start crafting like a mad woman.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I can dress up to be whoever I want to be, scare little children(well not really) and eat all the candy I want.
As usual my daughter asked me to make treat cards or envelopes for her friends and since I finally got my Silhouette Cameo I jumped up and down and obliged.
I made them really simple but that’s the way I like it.

The envelopes are from the Silhouette store ID# 58484. The spider webs are also from the Silhouette store ID# 4461. I used the Recollections paper pads Midnight Magic, Halloween Basics and Haunted Manor for all the envelopes. The spider image is from Miss Kate Cuttables and the spider dangling from the web is from Recollections.

I left these plain because the paper itself is gorgeous.

The cat girl is a free digi stamp from Cuddlebug Cuties and the witch silhouette is also from the Silhouette store ID# 66020. I embossed the witch with amazing glaze to make it glossy.

And finally these images came from Scrap and Tubes. You get all these images in one file plus way more for about $2. Can’t beat that. The Boo Title with the ghosts is from Miss Kate Cuttables.
All the candy had disappeared after taking the photos. I wonder how that happened.Rolling on the floor laughing

To-Do Planner Printable

For about 20 years now I have always used or carried some kind of planner with me. I even  ditched my purse for awhile and used my planner as a huge wallet. I love planners. I thought with the digital age that planners will disappear, but it seems that I'm not the only one that loves planners. People are getting so creative with their planners. They are using washi tape, stickers and so much more. I love it.

I love making my own planner printables and wanted to share one with you. This is a 8.5"x5.5" to-do printable. I use a Desk size Day-Timer planner and it fits perfectly.
                                                                   To-Do Printable

Here's a great video I found on YouTube by Laura Smith on how to print 8.5"x5.5" pages.

Check out my Pinterest Filofax Board to see how creative everyone is getting with their planners.
