Index Card Binder Tutorial

Yay! I finally was able to make the tutorial. I hope you enjoy it. A simple and fast way to make an index card binder. What's great about this binder is that it's refillable. This can be used for to do list, taking notes in class or meetings or you can make it into an address book. The possibilities are endless.

Here are other binders I have made.

E-Mail Questions Answered

Q. When will you be adding new items to your shop?

A. I am working on new designs now and will be adding a few items within the next month. Hopefully sooner.

Q. Is there any new tutorials coming out soon?

A. Yes. I am working on a notebook tutorial now. My camera hasn't been behaving that's why it's been  taking me a while to make a new video. Here's the notebook I'll be making a tutorial on.

Photobucket

Q.  Will there be any more giveaways?

A.  Yes. I will be having a contest called "Name My Star Buddy". Whoever comes up with the best name for my star logo(avatar) will be the winner. Prize not yet determined. Contest will be announced in a couple of months.

Thank you everyone for your questions. I am going to work hard to keep The Wishing Star up and running.

Super Simple Laminate Bookmark With No Heat

This bookmark is so quick and simple you'll want to make them for every reader you know.

The laminate sheets I used are self seal and the brand is GBC. They are 3mil and measure 9" x 12". They come in a 10 pack and I believe they were about $12.

Bookmarks are just the beginning for these laminate sheets. You can also make luggage tags and what about recipe cards to give as gifts. The possibilities are endless.

Merry Christmas

It's christmas! I love christmas! It's the time of year to be with family and friends. It's also the time of year when I gain lots of weight.  Cookies ,tamales, menudo, etc, etc. I love it all!

Even though christmas is a happy holiday I tend to get a little sad. I start thinking of the soldiers who are away from their families and how alone they must feel. Let us pray for them and hope that this war will be over soon.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” ISAIAH 9:6
May Christ bless you with all the happiness and success you deserve! Merry Christmas!

Hello!

Hello everyone. I know I haven't been blogging or doing much of anything lately, but I am working on some ideas for tutorials. Also, I finally have a place to craft on again and I will be taking some pics of that soon.

Can't believe christmas is just around the corner. This year me and my husband have decided to spend  alot of our christmas money on charity. I'm hoping this will show my daughter how lucky will all are to have a home, food and all those little things that seem like nothing. It's amazing what things we take for granted.

Galatians 5:22–23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
