Lion Money Holder

Here's a quick share for you. My mom needed a card for a birthday party she was going to and asked if I had anything that money will fit into. I didn't have anything but I really wanted to use my Cricut since it's been sitting there all lonely for a while. I used the lion from The Create A Critter cartridge and pattern paper from DCWV Animal Crackers 8x8 pack. Isn't he cute? This was such a fun card to make. I think I'll make more for different occasions.

Sorry about the picture quality. I had to hurry before my mom left and I only had my cell phone.

Fairy Card

Here is a second card I made for this weeks Summer Card Camp color challenge. I used the same papers from the Mariposa Matstack for the background. The stamp is from Stamps Happen Inc,. I bought this stamp years ago and thought it would work really well for this challenge. I colored it in with color pencils from EK Success. I also bought those years ago. I then added some Stickles to the wings and roses. I love the way she turned out.

Summer Card Camp-Week 2 Color Challenge

This is week 2 of the Summer Card Camp. I love the colors for this week. It's some what tropical.

For my card I used the Mariposa Matstack from DCWV. The colors were perfect. I then used my Cricut and cut out God Bless You from the Wild Card cartridge. Added some ribbon and flowers and VIOLA! Can't wait to see what they have for us next week.

Summer Card Camp-Week 1 Color Challenge

I signed up for the Summer Card Camp over at http://www.onlinecardclasses.com. This is the first week of class and our first assignment is to do a color challenge. I was a little nervous about how to use these colors and to tell you the truth I had no idea what I was going to do. I resigned the card  about 5 times until I was happy with it. So here it is.

It's a very simple card but I have a way of liking the simpler things. What do you think?
